We are back and it is time for Triple H to show us what is more important than the main event of the Royal Rumble.2013 was an epic year for The Authority. He guarantees that 2014 will be like nothing we have seen before. Hunter introduces someone who is coming back to the WWE.Brock Lesnar emerges and does the Brock Bounce. Then he makes his way to the ring and he is accompanied by Paul Heyman.Hunter and Brock exchange glances across the ring and then Hunter offers his hand to Brock and Brock shakes it.Paul Heyman introduces himself and he points out that The Beast is Back. In this age of transparency, his client has authorized him to tell everyone of his mission statement in WWE. His client BROCK LESNAR is not here to settle old scores. You fight Brock Lesnar, you lose to Brock Lesnar. Brock Lesnar forgets about you.Brock is not here as an instrument of revenge against anyone who has done wrong to Paul Heyman. Paul says that he is a bigger man. This is not about him. This is about his client, BROCK LESNAR.

Why is Brock Lesnar back in WWE? Brock declares his desire to be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. That means that for John Cena and Randy Orton, that the one who emerges from the Royal Rumble as champion, the winner is ultimately the loser. The Champion will have to face the challenge of the self declared Number One Contender BROCK LESNAR. Brock says that he does not care if it is Randy Orton or John Cena. As far as he is concerned, there ain’t nobody in this company or this building who can stop him . . . Brock Lesnar. He does not have to win a Royal Rumble match to challenge for the title. He does not have to stand in some line for a title match. The line starts behind him. Brock dares anybody to come down here to try to do something about that.

Paul says that there is no one man enough to take Brock up on that challenge. What Brock Lesnar wants, Brock Lesnar takes.

Mark Henry interrupts Paul speaking Brock’s name. Mark stands on the stage and he slowly makes his way to the ring. Henry gets in the ring and Lesnar with a knee that sends Henry to the floor. Henry sends Brock over the ringside barrier and into the crowd. Henry follows after Lesnar and Lesnar runs Henry through the ringside barrier. Lesnar picks up Henry and then he gets Henry on his shoulders for an F-5 on the floor. Heyman tells Lesnar that Mark has gotten the message and he understands.[credit: PWInsider.com]

During today’s [dec 29] SmackDown tapings which will air on january 3rd Intercontinental Champion Big E cut a promo in which he talked about “Brock Lesnar’s attack on Mark Henry on Raw”. This basically means Brock will return to Raw tomorrow [dec 30].

So unless WWE fools us here and cuts that promo from the final show Brock should be there.

From JRsbarbQ.com:

Rumor of the week is Brock Lesnar returning to UFC. I find that one a little far fetched. Diverticulitis isn’t something that is to be taken lightly, of this I know what I speak, and returning to the Octagon under those circumstances makes zero sense to me. Brock has a sweet gig in WWE working a handful of dates a year for which I assume is a healthy, 7 figure income. It’s a part time gig of which Brock is very good at and earning that kind of money is a bird’s nest on the ground. Unless an athlete was broke as hell, and Brock isn’t, there is no legit motivation to return to the Octagon and give it one more shot. No one is asking but if I were Brock Lesnar I’d continue to do the WWE gig including more dates and the opportunity to earn MORE money and smile all the way to the bank. Make it while you can, save it, and call it a day on one’s own terms. Plus, do it in a show biz world and not inside an Octagon where real fights occur. Just one guy’s opinion.

UFC president Dana White could easily end the rumors about Brock returning to the UFC by saying there’s nothing to it but in this interview , much like in the one from the media scrum yesterday, he keeps on saying “don’t know” with a smirk on his face. Questions about Brock are at the last minute of the clip:

Rumors like this pop up every now and then but this time it comes from a good source. The same guy who posted the following message in a MMA forum also broke news about Brock being ill and pulling out of fights way before UFC announced it:

This is no means offical but brock has the itch too comeback last year he said he would not but things have changed… Brock is feeling good healthy strong brocks not interested in the title I have been told he wants big money one off fights on a limited part time basis…

Brock will not be leaving wwe he is interested in doing both and it seem wwe will give him premission to take fights during how downtime with wwe as brock is on a pay per apperance deal and has a certain amount of dates too fullfill in a one year term…

There are some hurdles too clear but should not be a problem… As for when 2014 is what im told… discussions will be discussed between both parties but I dont think brock had his last fight in ufc

As he said… by no means official but interesting to say the least. They also noted that if WWE & UFC agree on this the fight would take place around july so Brock can begin training after he finished WrestleMania.
