Paul Heyman appeared on BustedOpenRadio earlier today & talked about Brock possibly becoming WWE champion at SummerSlam and if it will bring prestige to the title:

100% Agree. Brock Lesnar is going to beat John Cena. That’s not a prediction. That’s a spoiler. Brock Lesnar is going to become the Undisputed, Reigning Defending WWE Heavyweight Champion Of The World, and will bring more prestige and gate and box office attraction to any champion in the past 25 years. Brock Lesnar is going to make that title mean more than it ever has before. And people are going to realize that when Brock Lesnar defends the title, it’s must see and can’t miss.

If Brock breaking the streak of the Undertaker was the highlight of Heyman’s career:

As an advocate and performer, 100% the highlight. The best highlight. Everything else can compete for number 2 because this is number 1. John Cena said this on Sunday, 40 different men in history have been able to say “I won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.” Only ONE man can say, I beat The Streak…That’s a moment. The only equivalent I can give you is…”Ladies And Gentlemen, we have a new President of the United States.” And someone else walking up and saying, “Ladies And Gentlemen…I’ve been elected GOD.

Curtis Axel trained with Brock Lesnar for Lesnar’s return in 2012. He talked about that experience on

“Nonstop. I mean, we would wrestle a half-hour without a break, just going back and forth and basically doing a whole match. There was a moment, and he might get mad at me for saying this, but there was a moment where we stopped for a second and he said to me, “I’m going to beat your ass all the way to the corner, and then I’m going to take a step back. And when I come back to you, I want you to beat my ass all the way back to the other corner. And if it’s not up to my standards, if it’s not sufficient enough and I don’t think you’re aggressive, you know what’s going to happen to you.”

And in my head I’m thinking, “What does this mean?!?” so, it happened. I beat his ass all the way to the corner as aggressive as I could, I got up waiting for him to do something and he said, “That’s good.” And we moved on.”

A lot of people are giving Brock (and Rena) a hard time for “ignoring” the female fan in the airport-video that is posted below. The guy who filmed the scene added his video to Youtube and added the following:

Saori went up to Brock and ask if he was Brock Lesnar… Brock first didn’t hear her until Sable said to Brock” I think she is talking to you”, then Brock turn around and looked at Saori and asked “How are you?”, Saori said fine and she ask him “Are you Brock Lesnar?” He said “Yes” and then she ask “Can i take a picture with you?” And he said “No, not today”, Saori then said thank you and walked away … .. I told Saori it was ok … No worries .. -It was still cool to see him and see my wife talk to Brock … The Legend

Booker T spoke to the Huffington Post & revealed his thoughts on the criticism of “part-time” wrestlers like Brock & the Rock:

Brock Lesnar is back in the WWE, is criticism of part-time superstars valid?

Booker T: I look at guys like Brock Lesnar, guys like the Rock, like RVD and Chris Jericho who make their return briefly and then go off again, I look at those guys and think they are still willing to go out and help the product first and foremost. I tell the young guys on the roster that when they start selling tickets, selling out Pay-Per-Views and bringing up merchandise revenue, then they can start talking. Until then they should just shut up and enjoy the ride. That’s the way I look at guys like Brock Lesnar coming back. He’s a major big time superstar. A guy who’s done it in the WWE, who’s gone to MMA and done it and now he’s back again trying to complete the trifecta. So I give guys like Brock Lesnar big, big props for still wanting to be around and do this and bring revenue into the business. When the young guys start selling tickets and creating a buzz for PPVs then we won’t have to bring back guys like the Rock. Until then, just keep quiet and enjoy the ride.

Triple H named Brock Lesnar the #1 contender to John Cena’s WWE title at Summerslam. Full report below [credit: PWInsider].

Triple H is in the ring while his wife is at the Miami-Dade County Jail.

Triple H introduces John Cena’s opponent and the challenger for the WWE Title at SummerSlam..

Randy Orton’s music plays and he comes to the ring. Roman Reigns attacks Orton and they fight outside the ring. They fight into the crowd. They work their way to the back and Hunter doesn’t know what to do.

Paul Heyman makes his way onto the stage and he has a mic. Paul says that he knows how much he has for Mr. COO, but he hates to point out the obvious. Plan A is not working with Randy Orton as long as Roman Reigns is around. Plan B is great. Every time Seth Rollins tries to cash in the briefcase, Seth Rollins is going to stop him.

The Authority has the uncomfortable decision to implement Plan C . . .

Brock Lesnar’s music plays and he makes his way onto the stage and he does the Brock Bounce before making his way to the ring.

Hunter looks at Paul and he shakes his hand. He also shakes Brock’s hand and it is official that Brock Lesnar is going to take his talents to Los Angeles to beat John Cena.

Paul introduces himself and he says that his client BROCK LESNAR conquered the Undertaker’s undefeated streak at Wrestlemania. That is why at this moment, his client hereby announces that his intention is to conquer John Cena and take the WWE World Championship at SummerSlam.

Paul says that his client acknowledges this divide that permeates through the WWE Universe. There are those who wear their green t-shirts and pump up sneakers as they scream at the top of their lungs ‘Let’s Go Cena’. There are those who offer the contrarian position because their mommies don’t tuck them into bed and they say ‘Cena sucks’. His client does not matter what side you are on because the malpracticing doctor of Thuganomics will get the beating of a lifetime.

Paul says that he uses historical fact to support his position. Paul shows us what happened the last time his client focused on someone and decided to give them a beating. We see footage of Brock’s win at Wrestlemania XXX.

Paul says that everyone wanted to be the one to stop the Undertaker’s streak. Brock beat the Undertaker so violently that Vince McMahon had to ride in the ambulance because our heartless chairman cared so much about a Deadman’s life. That same beating is waiting for you John.

Brock is not the stereotypical villain who will offer John to surrender the title to escape the beating. John, you cannot escape this beating. Brock will take John Cena down. He will punch John Cena’s face in. John will be hurt by Brock Lesnar. He will injure John Cena. He will mangle John Cena. Then he will F-5 John Cena and then he will strip John of the dignity of being the WWE Champion. The same way that he stripped the Undertaker of his dignity and exposed the Undertaker’s streak as a myth. The same myth that he hears about John Cena being the greatest WWE Champion of all time. Fifteen titles in 10 years. That sounds like something work conquering. Paul pledges his allegiance to the conqueror who stands before him. One Cenation, with no hustle, loyalty, or respect for all.

Paul says that he is the one behind the one in twenty-one and one. Paul says that his client will beat John Cena at SummerSlam and become the WWE Champion of the World.

Brock bounces while we go to credits.

Although John Cena is not scheduled for the show tonight this is said to be the day their rivalry, which will lead to a match for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at Summerslam, begins.

Former WWE writer Vince Russo posted an article on his official website in which he talks about “FIVE WOMEN I’D LET BEAT ME IN THE MIDDLE, PROCEED TO KICK MY !@#$%, AND, LOVE IT!!!“. Before giving his list he explains why Sable (Brock’s wife) is not on it…

But, before I get into my top five list, I had to explain why someone was omitted–-Sable. There is no doubt that Sable would have been at the top of my list, if not THE top. During her Attitude Era run, Sable dominated the male viewing audience through her combination of beauty, athleticism, and 100% ATTITUDE. She was more of the complete package than even Lex Luger was. However, a few years back when I came up with the idea to bring Sable in as an authority figure at TNA, I gave her a call having not spoken to her for years. A guy answered the phone, and I asked for Rena. Rena got on the phone, we had a great conversation catching up, and talking about future possibilities with TNA. I hung up the phone with Rena, and told her to think about it and I’d call her back in a few days.

Well, literally within seconds of me hanging up the phone, Kurt Angle called me. He seemed both confused and concerned. “Vince, what did you do?” he asked. “I said, “Kurt, what are you talking about?” “Did you just call Rena Mero?”, he asked. I said, “Yeah, how do you know?” Kurt answered, “Because, Brock Lesner was the one who answered the phone–-and now he wants to kill you.”

Now, understand, at that time I had NO IDEA that Rena was going out with Brock Lesner, let alone LIVING with him, so when a guy answered the phone–I had NO IDEA who it was. From there Kurt called Brock back, going to bat for me, but–-it was already too late. In Brock’s mind, since I didn’t formally introduce myself to him–despite the fact that I DIDN’T KNOW IT WAS HIM–he wanted to end my life, much the same way he ended Taker’s streak. Needless to say I never spoke to Rena again, and can’t put her in my top 5 because I’m not ready to pack it in–-not just yet.
